Just a note to say how impressed I was with the service at your Grey Lynn branch today – my daughter had requested a quote on two new tyres, but when I took her car in today they were not in stock (she had somehow given the wrong specs).
Dan went out of his way to source and courier the correct tyres to the branch, ensuring that they would be available this afternoon (at no extra cost). I was able to return and have them fitted ready for my daughter to drive out of Auckland tomorrow as planned.
I am most grateful for Dan's excellent service, and will be recommending Discount Tyres to the rest of my family and friends.

I would like to advise of the feedback around the service received from Discount Tyres. Not sure if you receive feedback from other customers about there experiences with Discount Tyres.
- Firstly to receive a prompt response from my query is very impressive and excellent service, probably about a 10 minute wait.
- Your comment in regarding the Assurance tyres corrected our thinking and we actually invested in this tyre as my wife travels alot on back roads giving a greater piece of mind.
- After much decision my wife and I felt following the prompt reply from you and excellent pricing that we decided to get new tyres from Discount Tyres.
- I phoned and spoke to Jeremy last week (Wednesday I believe) and he advised that coming down at lunchtime should be Ok, upon my arrival a gentleman began to assist me and advised my front tyres need to be replaced, I then drove into the bay to swap them. Jeremy who was actually helping me then got the correct tyres off the rack as he believed I was the same person on the phone in the morning and the timing was about right.
I can honestly say that because of your prompt reply you have gained a customer as we also need our rear tyres replaced soon. The service received from Discount Tyres was nothing short of excellent.

I have just been to your Henderson branch to deal with a flat tyre on my Daihatsu Rocky 4 Wheel Drive. I had been to one of your main competitors first and been told I would need a new tyre which he would need to order in for me and that it would cost about $200 to $250.
The young chap I delt with at your Henderson branch, was both friendly and professional. After a good look at my tyre, he informed me that a new tyre wasn't needed, and wouldn't be needed for some time, but could mend it. He did, then put it on the car and put my spare back on the back of the car all for $25, and all in about 10 minutes! NOW THAT’S SERVICE. By giving good advice and not just trying to sell me an expensive tyre I did not need, he will in fact have gained your busines many hundreds of dollars worth of sales over the next couple of weeks.
I have been in retail management for 30 years and it makes me sad to see the poor level of service by many so called professional retailers. But, 10 minutes with your great staff this morning has given me hope. Every member of the team was a credit to your organisation with special credit going to the young man that was so helpful and pleasant to deal with. I am needing to replace all four of my tyres on my Golf. Not only will I be going straight to your place for them, but I will be telling everyone I know that there's no need to go shopping about when the best tyre service in town is right there at Discount Tyres, Henderson. If it helps identify the chap who was so great my Cash sale tax invoice number was 90814.

On Tuesday I visited your outlet in Browns Bay to have a new tyre fitted for my vehicle. This visit was a result of calling in to that outlet the previous week to get advice on tyre replacement.
On the first occasion I was looked after – promptly – by an extremely nice, courteous and helpful young man. He listened to what I was telling him and gave his advice re replacing existing tyre with a different brand and tread pattern. I departed on that first occasion fully intending to return.
That return visit was yesterday. The same young man immediately came to assist me as soon as I drove up. He obviously remembered me from the previous visit a week earlier and commenced to replace my tyre without me having to prompt him again as to what was required. Very impressive.
An older gentleman processed my payment and as I was in a hurry to return to work I decided that I would send this email to let the management/owners of that outlet know that it is pleasing to find the superb service as I was given on both occasions. The young man is to be congratulated and if all your outlets give that same level of great service then your company is to be commended.

I would like to express my appreciation for the great service provided by Gary and the team at Grey Lynn. They were able to source two Goodyear tyres which nobody else I contacted in Auckland could, and they were able to provide them at a competitive price compared to other companies. They were also very friendly and efficient when they fitted the tyres and provided excellent service which is hard to come by these days.
We have two work vans and three cars so I will definitely be using Gary and his team for any further requirements.
